7th Annual CCPBioSim Conference - Frontiers in Biomolecular Simulation

The 7th annual meeting of CCP-BioSim is organised jointly with the Molecular Graphics and Modelling Society and will have the theme of Modelling and Simulation for Synthetic Biology.

The conference will showcase important advances in biomolecular modelling and simulation tools, technologies, interplay with experiment, and applications to biomolecular design and synthetic biology.

Contributed presentations

Abstracts for oral and poster contributions are strongly encouraged for all participants. There are a significant number of contributed talk slots available (20 minutes), and posters will be on display during the whole conference, with designated poster sessions both evenings. There will also be the opportunity to 'pitch' your poster in a minute (with one slide).

Selected contributing speakers will be notified before August 5th.

Instructions for submitting abstracts will be sent in the confirmation email you receive after registration.


Registration

The registration fee includes the conference dinner at the SS Great Britain on 5 September 2019, but accommodation must be arranged separately by the attendee.

Programme

The conference will start with registration and lunch in the afternoon of Wednesday September 4th, and will end around lunchtime on Friday September 6th. The programme can be found here.

There will be three satellite training workshops on September 3 and 6 2019. The topics covered will be Introduction to BioSimSpace, ISAMBARD: a Python-based framework for structural analysis and rational design of biomolecules, and Advanced BioSimSpace. These workshops are free of charge, but a separate registration is required.

Registration for the workshops has now closed.

For late registrations, a sign-up sheet will be available during the conference for the Advanced BioSimSpace workshop on Friday September 6 (2-5pm).
